This is an exceptionally rare and well-preserved example of the National Panasonic RS-J3, manufactured by Matsushita in Japan in 1980. Originally released to compete with the first Sony Walkman, this unit is a true time capsule in near-mint condition.

Cosmetic: Excellent — crisp lettering, bright chrome buttons, no dents. Complete with the original brown vinyl shoulder strap carrying case, marked "Made in Japan" — a rare and highly collectible accessory.
