This is a beautiful antique French religious plaque, crafted from gold-toned bronze and depicting Saint Thérèse of Lisieux.

The plaque is in wonderful condition, as shown in the pictures. It has a string on the back, allowing it to be hung on a wall.

The inscription reads "SANCTA TERESIA A JESU INFANTE" (St. Theresa of the Child Jesus), a title by which Saint Thérèse of Lisieux is known. Saint Thérèse of Lisieux is a highly venerated French Catholic saint, known for her "little way" of spiritual childhood. She was canonized in 1925 and declared a Doctor of the Church in 1997. She is the patron saint of missionaries and is often called "The Little Flower".
