A stunning pair of vintage clip-on earrings, a superb example of Art Deco French craftsmanship dating back to the transitional period between late Art Deco and early Retro style (circa 1938–1945).

TECHNICAL & CONSTRUCTION DETAILS

· Atelier Craftsmanship: This is not a modern industrial casting. The two-tone (gold and silver tone) chains are real twisted rope strands, individually tensioned and hand-assembled over a rigid inner dome support — a masterclass technique typical of historic French paruriers

· Design: Sculptural 3D "turban" or "love knot" structure, perfectly embodying the metallic passementerie work typical of Parisian haute couture workshops of the era

· Condition: 100% original with no repairs or alterations. They retain their beautiful, genuine time-earned patina on the brass back plate and inside the hinge

· Clasp: Period-correct authentic paddle-back clips, tight, secure, and in perfect working order

An untouched collector's piece, ideal for connoisseurs of rare high-end vintage fashion jewelry and authentic couture hardware.
