The clown's textured amber curls and the opaque white "lattimo" gloved fingers grip a rich ruby red accordion — a masterful display of the glassmaker's art. The solid glass body, weighing a substantial 1500 grams, is blown in a vibrant aquamarine-blue glass, encasing a multicolored confetti motif.
The sculpture is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or restorations to any of its delicate protrusions. The flat bottom displays authentic light shelf wear consistent with its age and history.
A NOTE ON THE LABEL & ATTRIBUTION
The reverse of the sculpture retains its original rectangular gold label reading "Vetri Artistici CF - Hand Made - Made in Murano" . The label features a distinctive intertwined "CF" monogram.
This label identifies the piece as a product of the "CF" Murano glassworks, a producer active during the 1960s and documented in period auction catalogs for its bullicante and figural glass work. The exceptional quality of execution and the distinctive use of aventurine and lattimo glass testify to the hand of a skilled Muranese master.
