Welcome to 'The Analog Vault,' where vintage technology meets timeless sound. Here, each radio, amplifier, and tape recorder has been selected for its iconic design and potential to be revived. For those seeking not just an object, but a piece of sonic history.
Complete Sharp Hi-Fi stereo system made in Japan, consisting of three perfectly matching components: receiver, cassette deck and tangential turntable. A compact but sophisticated vintage audio system typical of Japanese engineering from the early 1980s, appreciated for its clean design and reliable sound.
THE SET INCLUDED
RECEIVER – SHARP SA-111
Stereo receiver with LW, MW and FM radio bands, featuring classic analog tuning and balanced tone control. The amplifier provides approximately 20 watts per channel, delivering clear and warm sound typical of early solid-state systems.
Controls include Bass, Treble and Balance, Loudness function and headphone output for private listening. Rear inputs allow connection of Tape, Aux, Tuner and Phono, making the receiver flexible for different audio sources.
The rear panel also features a 4 cm spacer designed to improve ventilation and cooling, a thoughtful engineering detail for long-term reliability.
CASSETTE DECK – SHARP RT-111
Matching cassette recorder with Dolby Noise Reduction and support for Normal, CrO₂ and Metal tapes.
Recording controls include:
illuminated Left / Right recording level meters
Record Level control (-10 to +10) for precise adjustment
Microphone input for direct recording
The deck also includes a tape counter and elegant illuminated scale typical of vintage cassette equipment.
TURNTABLE – SHARP RP-111
A refined tangential linear-tracking turntable, designed to keep the stylus perfectly aligned with the groove, improving playback accuracy.
FEATURES INCLUDE
Fully automatic start and return
manual track selection (forward / backward)
arm lift and lower control
33 / 45 RPM speeds
record size selector 17 / 30 cm
The turntable is fitted with an 'Audio Technica' cartridge with stylus protection. It is powered directly through the receiver, as originally designed.
CONDITION
The system is perfectly working in all functions: radio, cassette and turntable. All original connection cables are included.
The two speaker cables are included, equipped with the connectors for the receiver, which are increasingly difficult to find today. The turntable dust cover shows small signs of wear, consistent with age, but these do not affect the overall appearance or functionality of the set. All components feature black finish with silver controls, giving the system a classic early-1980s hi-fi look.
